A Warm Welcome
Welcome to St. Philip Neri School – a place where young minds are nurtured, character is built, and every child is empowered to achieve extraordinary things.
Nestled in the serene environment of Joska, Off Kangundo Road, our school is a vibrant learning community dedicated to providing a holistic education that prepares learners for life, leadership, and service.
Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions a family makes, and I don't take it lightly that you're considering ours. We pair a fully implemented CBC curriculum with genuine personal attention, because we believe a child's confidence and character deserve to grow just as much as their grades. I would love for you to visit our campus, meet our teachers, and see a typical school day for yourself — every learner here is known by name, not just by their teacher, but by our whole school community.
Our Identity
St. Philip Neri School is a private Christian school in Joska, Machakos County, offering education for ages 3–15 — from Montessori-guided kindergarten through Playgroup, Primary and Junior School (Grade 9). We have fully implemented the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC): personalised, adaptable, and responsive to how each learner actually learns — students progress at their own pace, building a genuine grasp of each skill before moving to the next.
Our motto, "Together We Achieve the Extraordinary," reflects our belief that success is a shared journey – between learners, teachers, parents, and the wider community.
Academic Excellence
Our curriculum is delivered by qualified, passionate, and caring teachers who use modern, learner-centred approaches. We believe in teaching the whole child – academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
A nurturing introduction to school life through play-based learning.
Building foundational literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
Developing core competencies in reading, writing, and mathematics.
Deepening subject knowledge and fostering critical thinking.
Preparing learners for secondary education and life beyond.
